Essence of Summer at the Shore

As evening arrives and the sun starts to wane,
A shimmering essence fills the air at the shore,
The essence of summer, we've longed for in vain,
Now lingers and whispers, its presence we adore.

The beach, kissed by sunlight, golden and bright,
Gently caressed by the waves rolling in,
Children run freely, their laughter takes flight,
Embracing the joy that this season has been.

A ferry draws near, along the breakwater's edge,
Its arrival a symbol of journeys set free,
Bringing with it stories, both old and new-fledged,
As it glides through the waves, sailing effortlessly.

The gentle waves dance, in harmony they sway,
Their rhythmic cadence, a lullaby's call,
Inviting us to linger, to while the hours away,
And indulge in the magic of summer's sweet thrall.

The essence of summer, so vibrant and true,
Paints vivid memories with every sunset glow,
As day turns to dusk, and the night starts to ensue,
We savor these moments, cherishing all we know.

So let us embrace this summer's eve charm,
Captivated by nature's delightful display,
With the scent of the sea, and the touch of the warm,
We revel in moments that won't fade away.

This essence of summer, it fills us with glee,
As evening approaches, the shore comes alive,
It casts its enchantment, setting our spirits free,
In the heart of this season, we genuinely thrive.
